Mr. Clavel is a managing director and portfolio manager in the London office and leads alternative credit in Europe and emerging markets, focusing on PIMCO’s opportunistic and alternative strategies within corporate credit. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2021, he worked for Sculptor Capital (formerly Och Ziff) as a partner, head of European and Asian credit. Prior to joining Sculptor, he was a senior analyst at Silver Point Capital, a vice president at GSC Partners, and an analyst in the merger and acquisitions group at Schroder Salomon Smith Barney. He has 21 years of investment experience and holds an MSc in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics and a BSc from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Aix en Provence.
